It’s been a long time since sag-design was updated, the web changed rapidly during those seconds? Minutes? Hours? Well probably months is an adequat describtion. After years of just being a showcase of some random artworks and designs it’s time to feed this site with some real content.

Designing with a purpose

Back in the days designs just had to be nice or good looking. Flash was never a choice, neither were dynamic pages. Overall there is still the strong believe that there is a time and a place for static, good looking pages offering good content. It’s not the number 1 thing to create bright and shiny design that noone can use. In case you want to design it always has to be with purpose.

• What’s your audience?
• What’s your budget?
• What’s your deadline?
• What are your predefined settings?
• Where is the use behind that design? Do you want to showcase? Sell? Entertain? Inform? Sell advertisement? Go viral?
